Hello! My name is Lucas Hill, I’m originally from Boston, and currently living in California. I graduated with a double major in studio art photography and environmental studies, following my love for the arts and outdoors. I have been taking photos for many years, starting off alongside my dad, who has been an inspiration for me in becoming my own artist and photographer. I have a love for creating images of beautiful landscapes, capturing fascinating personal moments in my portraits and a focus of black and white digital images.

I shoot mostly digital and have a high level of proficiency in the use of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to post process images to consistently reach a desired outcome. I have shot with a variety of cameras, but I’m currently shooting with a Sony a7r2.

Film photography has always attracted me too and I have experience mixing chemicals and setting up a wet dark room, developing rolls of film quickly and with care as well as making prints of varying exposures, sizes and using advanced techniques such as burning, dodging and masking.
